Dr. Hope Njuki Nakabuye recently completed her program of study at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln (UNL). She earned her Ph.D. in Biological Systems Engineering in August 2022, after defending her thesis on “Canopy Temperature Based Irrigation Management of Maize and Soybeans in Semi-Arid Climates.” While studying at UNL, Nakabuye was located at the West Central Research, Extension and Education Center (WCREEC) in North Platte, NE, where she is currently working in a post-doctoral position
